Here you can see me with my two sisters Emma and Paula. Together we are the pig trio at Moar Gut. And we love it. We especially like the sunbathing and the mud baths. You know, we have to have a good mud bath in the summer. It not only helps against the sun, but also cools us down and cleanses us at the same time. Oh, how nice that is!
You probably use sunscreen against the sun, don't you? But we don't and the mud is much better for us anyway.
We share our enclosure at Moar Gut with the geese. Although they can sometimes chatter quite loudly, they are very friendly housemates. Sometimes we take a bath together and swap stories. You know, a chattering goose can be quite funny.
Sleeping is definitely one of my favorite pastimes. But of course also eating, mud bathing and playing with my brothers and sisters. But the best thing here at Moar Gut is the animal sponsorship. Each family can choose an animal to look after during their vacation. Either a horse, a rabbit, an alpaca or me. A little pig. Then the children always give me a special food that I particularly like. In return, one or other of them gets to feel my wet snout. I don't have a nose like you, but a trunk.
I am an omnivore and am happy about every morsel I get. I like roots and apples best, but also worms and insects. There's nothing I don't like!
When I was a little piglet, my mom couldn't make me happy with anything. I didn't like worms or apples. I mostly just ate corn and oats. But it's different today. Do you know that too? That you don't like some food at all?
So, my dears, I've told you enough for today. But who knows when we'll hear each other again or perhaps meet in person at Moar Gut. I would definitely be very happy!
Your little pig Rosa!
