Ingredients:
500ml milk
250g self-raising flour
6 eggs
100g butter
40g sugar
pinch of salt
Preparation:
1. separate the eggs
2. beat the egg whites until stiff
3. mix egg yolks, flour, milk, flour and salt
4. carefully fold in the egg whites
5. melt the butter in a pan
6. add part of the batter
7. fry until golden yellow
8. quarter the dough in the pan and then turn it over
9. cut into pieces and refine again with a little butter
10. put the lid on and leave the Kaiserschmarren to rise a little
MOAR tip: After turning, caramelize some sugar with butter in the pan. This gives the Kaiserschmarren its unique taste.
