Photovolatics
The sun gives us energy - and we use it! With our PV systems on the stables and the indoor riding arena, we produce a significant proportion of our electricity requirements directly on site. At the height of summer, we draw up to one megawatt of electricity per day from our photovoltaic systems.
District heating
Thanks to the regional, resource-conserving district heating system from the Großarl combined heat and power plant, we heat our hotel efficiently and sustainably. We heat exclusively with wood chips.
Heat pump
Thanks to a deep borehole, we can also use the heat from the earth to supply our resort with energy.
Heat recovery
Even the energy that we produce directly in the house is used sustainably. For example, the heat generated by dryers and cold stores is in turn used to heat the swimming pools and other facilities.
These conscious decisions enable us to reduce our ecological footprint and offer our guests a stay in harmony with nature.
