Thanks to the impressive open-air riding hall, we also offer riding fun in winter, regardless of the weather. Our riding instructors cater to the needs of each individual. Whether it's riding lessons for children from the age of 3 or individual lessons for advanced riders.
Our riding offers:
- Pony walk
A leisurely pony walk around the resort for children aged three and over.
- Pony beauty
Mane braiding, painting horses with finger paints, grooming and then leading ponies. Ponybeauty is available for children aged two and over and lasts 50 minutes.
- Playful riding lessons
A playful riding lesson in the riding hall with various movements and obstacles on the lunge line for children aged four and over.
- Lungeing lessons
Individual lessons on the lunge line in the indoor arena for first riding experiences. Lunging lessons can be booked for children from the age of six.
- Private lessons
The 50-minute individual lesson in the riding hall is for children aged six and over who already have some riding experience.
- Group lessons
Gain riding experience together in a group and make friends on vacation. Group lessons take place in the riding hall for groups of two or more and are for riders who can already ride independently at a walk and trot.
- Horseback ride
The group ride takes place around the resort and is for intermediate and advanced riders from the age of six.
- Bronze horseshoe
The bronze horseshoe is one of three riding badges that can be completed at Moar Gut during the riding vacations. The playful horse and technical course with lungeing lessons and theory is for beginners aged 6 and over. The badge comprises 5 units.
- Horseshoe silver small
Horse care, theory and the correct driving and steering of the horse on the lunge and during free riding are taught. The silver horseshoe is for slightly advanced riders from the age of six.
- Horseshoe silver
Horse care and theory: the correct driving and steering of the horse as well as simple figures and cantering on the lunge are reinforced. The silver horseshoe comprises five units and is for slightly advanced riders aged 8 and over.
- Horseshoe gold
Horsemanship, horse care and theory: Riding and correct aids in all three basic gaits are consolidated. The horseshoe gold comprises five units and is for advanced riders.
In summer additionally:
- Trail ride to the alpine pasture
An unforgettable vacation experience are our trail rides to the alpine pasture. Here we stop for a Kaiserschmarren, enjoy the scenery and ride back to the hotel. Advanced riders aged ten and over can take part in the trail ride, which lasts around 3.5 hours.
In winter additionally:
- Horse-drawn carriage ride
When all you can hear is the snorting of horses and the clattering of hooves, the Moar Gut carriage takes you through the snow-covered Grossarl Valley. Wrapped up in warm blankets, you can discover the winter landscape in a romantic way.
