You will need:
- firm, square paper
- scissors
- paper glue
And this is how it works:
First fold the paper diagonally twice from corner to corner and then twice more in the middle. Then use the scissors to cut the four straight edges to the middle. Fold the cut edges back to the diagonal edges. Apply glue to one side of each corner and glue it to the other side to make the star three-dimensional.
When the second star is also finished, place the two on top of each other and glue them together. In this step, it's great if you also glue the string directly to the star so that you can hang it up later.
That may sound a little complicated, but in reality the paper stars are quick and easy to make.
