Ingredients:
50g almonds
50g hazelnuts
20g oat flakes
100g dried dates
50g dried plums
1 tbsp orange juice
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp grated orange peel
4 tbsp grated coconut
4 tbsp cocoa powder
Preparation:
- Finely chop the almonds and hazelnuts
- Add dates, plums, orange juice, orange zest and cinnamon
- Form small balls from the mixture
- Place the shredded coconut and cocoa powder in two separate bowls
- Roll half of the balls in shredded coconut and the other half in cocoa powder
- Serve the energy balls straight away or store in the fridge
Our tip: We have rolled the energy balls in freeze-dried berries instead of coconut and cocoa.
